  21. :)  had two covers done by Ron Thorton from Babylon-5 and have
  22. :)  been pretty fair in thier coverage of the Amiga.

  24. Well, I'm not too sure how fair their coverage has really been.  I'm not sure
  25. which is worse, no coverage or inacurate coverage.  Most every Amiga-related
  26. feature article that I've read in CGW since about 1988-89 has been full of
  27. technical and feature-related errors.  Even when dealing with the most basic
  28. Amiga features, capabilities and what is available for the platform.

  30. What's also annoying is that for every feature article that praises the 
  31. platforms capabilities or a particular piece of code in the same breath they
  32. condemn it.  Without fail there will _always_ be a big "BUT" when praising
  33. the Amiga.

  35. But I've never seen them take this schizo attitude with other platforms.  I've
  36. never seen them once say something like, "the new Macintosh is great but is
  37. still much slower than other platforms sporting the same processor specs," or
  38. "the new Indy is cool, but the case is made from Hasbro-quality plastic and
  39. be ready for several motherboard swaps if you intend to use one with a modem
  40. (power-cycling a device hooked to the serial port is bad news)."  Never.
